Thanksgiving Break Camp - Beginner and Intermediate

This is a 3 days camp. Mon 11/22 - Wed 11/24, 2021

This camp is for both beginner and intermediate sewing skills. If you've never used a sewing machine you will learn to: thread the machine, wind a bobbin, make a rolled hem on your baby blanket while you get used to a 5/8" seam allowance, learn to pin correctly and sew in the round on pillowcases, make a casing for your drawstring bag. You will choose your own recycled fabrics that you will measure and cut into pieces which will be used to make a one of a kind up-cycled item. If you have already taken sewing machine classes, we will add to your project to make it more stimulating for you.

All sewing materials are included for this camp. We use only recycled textiles from existing clothes. You can bring your own items to be recycled ( 1-3 items per person). Only woven fabrics, no knit materials (means no stretchy). 

Example to bring: ADULT WEAR like cotton/denim shirts, denim jean’s, skirts.
