TUESDAYS - (RE)FASHION CLASS 

Pre-requisite: Intro to Machine Sewing (Wednesday class) or have participated in any of our previous camps or book a private class previously with us.

Cost: -Whole semester (18 dates): $ 648 . 

          -*Monthly rate (4 classes): $160  (Starting in February, 2023, enrollment starting on January 10th)

Schedule: 4pm-5:30pm 

Ages: 9-15 years old

DATES:  FULL Semester starting on January 17th through May 30th, 2023. 

               *Month by month enrollment starting on February 7th, 2023

DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:

During this sewing class students will be introduce to the art of re-fashioning a piece of clothes by learning techniques to give old and forgotten clothing a new lease of life and make it into a "new and more interesting" piece of clothes that they will be able to wear, gift or sell.

We work with pre-loved clothes and discarded textiles.

All materials are included for this class.

Students are welcome to bring their own pre-loved clothes, either their own size or adult size.

Ages: 5.5 years old and up

DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:

New to hand sewing? This is the perfect place to start! 

We will spend lots of time practicing threading and tying knots, which is the trickiest part of hand sewing. 

We’ll also learn the difference between the whip, blanket, and running stitches, and how to sew a button. Take home with a skill book demonstrating everything you’ve learned.

Use these skills to make all sorts of fun projects! We will create clothes for your doll or teddy bear, will hand sew animal friends, blankets, Kawaii food, etc.

All materials are included for this class.

WEDNESDAY- INTRO TO MACHINE SEWING - Beginner and Intermediate Beginner

DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:

If you've never used a sewing machine, or you have some knowledge in machine sewing, then this is the class for you! This is a pre-requisite for all other classes on  machine sewing. These skills lay a strong foundation for you to build on with future sewing projects. In this class, you will complete 1 to 4 projects.

Even though this class is promoted for beginners, it welcomes all levels and skills. All materials are included for this class.Students are welcome to donate pre-loved clothes in adults sizes.
